Semantic Annotation for the Ancient World Conference 2026 - call for papers

The TALOS AI4SSH Centre and the University of Crete are organizing a conference on Semantic Annotation for the Ancient World. The conference will be held on 7-8 May 2026 at the Student and Cultural Center “Xenia” of the University of Crete in Rethymno. 

The conference will examine the role of semantic annotation in dialogue with hybrid AI approaches, large language models (LLMs), deep learning, and knowledge graphs in the study of the ancient world and cultural heritage.
